What will the Occupational Therapy Assessment include?
Our assessments explore areas including co-ordination, fine motor skills, handwriting, sensory processing, regulation, posture, attention and participation in everyday activities at home and school.
Where appropriate, standardised assessment can provide evidence to support the diagnostic process for Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD/Dyspraxia), or help identify underlying motor, visual motor, and functional difficulties affecting handwriting, learning and daily life.
Families receive a comprehensive written Occupational Therapy report with practical recommendations for home and school, and where appropriate, ongoing therapy.
